Truly honored to be interviewed on KPFK's Freedom Now show by professor and radio host extraordinariare Gerald Horne. I talk about The National Alliance of Black Feminists: A History, about Black women's participation in the fight for the Equal Rights Amendment, about NABF's commitment to building coalitions, and about the Black women's liberation movement, including the Combahee River Collective. (A few too many umms in my speech, sadly).
Scroll down in the archive for Freedom Now on September 20, the interview starts about six minutes in. Bonus: A photo of Brenda Eichelberger at the Black Women's Center, from the Chicago History Museum.
